Stephanie Logan

Stephanie Logan is the Executive Director of The L.E.A.D. Institute (Leadership through Education and Advocacy for the Deaf). Ms. Logan is responsible for establishing the first statewide services to Deaf victims of crime in the nation. Ms. Logan is a graduate of the University of Georgia and was the first deaf graduate from the National Victim’s Assistance Academy in Washington, D.C. Ms. Logan is currently completing work on her M.B.A. and was recently accepted to the University of Missouri Counseling Psychology doctoral program. Ms. Logan coordinated the establishment of the National Crisis Response Team for the Deaf in 2001. In addition to being a statewide and national speaker, Ms. Logan has several articles in her field. Ms. Logan is a late-deafened adult as a result of spinal meningitis over ten years ago and has spent most of that time developing and improving programs and services for individuals with a hearing loss.
