Teresa Brisley is the Volunteer Coordinator for The L.E.A.D. Institute. As the Volunteer Coordinator, Ms. Brisley is responsible for recruiting and training volunteers, provide support for volunteers and staff working on crisis lines, make presentations to community organizations, churches about the Mid-Missouri Crisis Line and Deafline Missouri. Additional responsibilities include attending meetings and workshops to network with other agencies and market the Mid-Missouri Crisis Line and Deafline Missouri. Ms. Brisley received her Bachelors Degree in Social Work from the University of Missouri-Columbia and is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Social Work at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Ms. Brisley has worked as an Associate Coordinator with the Central Missouri Mentoring Partnership, working with at risk youth. She has also worked as a Recruitment Coordinator and Employment Consultant with Advent Enterprise and a House Manager for the Front Door. Ms. Brisley is involved with many organizations in the community such as the Interfaith Council, Boone County Related Agencies Associations, North Central Region HIV/STD Community Advisory Group, and serves as secretary for the Mid-Missouri Coalition on Adolescent Concerns..
